Our visit to New Day Foster Home
What an incredible blessing this was! I could never put into words how much we love this place and the work that is being done here. We truly didn't want to leave. We spent the day playing and holding and feeding and playing…:0) We especially enjoyed our time with our sponsored children. It was amazing to see how well Charlie is doing post surgery and how strong he was becoming. Stacy is simply beautiful. She snuggled into my cheek and melted my heart. We were able to see Brett the miracle child and marvel at his progress. We brought in bubbles and beanie babies and had a great time. So many of the children have been matched with their forever families and will be going home soon! We have oodles of pictures full of smiling, happy faces. We all left with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes wanting to stay and be a part of this team. Oh how I wish I had unlimited resources… Click here to see photos of our visit.
Molly Mohr's Donation Birthday Party
This extraordinary girl held her birthday party with friends with a goal in mind: Raise funds for Love Without Boundaries programs. And she did just that! This group raised $130 to provide medical equipment, cribs and bouncers to children in the SWI's participating in this year's summer camp program. Many children are receiving life-altering therapy this summer, and specific equipment is needed to improve their lives on a daily basis. Thank you Molly and friends for sharing of yourselves and changing the lives of children on the other side of the world. Click here to see this great group of girls!

Visit to Philip Hayden Foundation
What a phenomenal organization! We had an amazing day, visiting first New Day foster Home and then Philip Hayden. I would be perfectly happy to move to China tomorrow and start working with the children! It was an honor to meet Tim Baker, the founder of this foundation. His heart is dedicated to these precious children and he and his team work so hard to provide for all of the children in their care. They are developing a beautiful facility for visiting families who wish to stay and volunteer on their visits to China . We also spent some time at the Hands of Hope wall on their grounds and got to see the tiles of so many precious children who have found their way home. Click here to see photos of PHF.
