Fall 2006 Updates
Unfortunately, life with 4 children is going to show its effects in this update. :0) I apologize for being brief.
We had a great fall, continuing to provide care for 4 children through Half The Sky Foundation, 5 children through Love Without Boundaries Foster Care Programs in 4 different provinces- partnering with Grace and Hope for one of them, and 2 children through New Day Foster Home. All are doing beautifully and thriving in their caring environments. We hope to add a child from Philip Hayden Foundation soon. We also continue to support nutrition, medical, and education programs operated by Love Without Boundaries.
We had 3 more children make a difference with their donation birthday parties. Nicole Scroggins and Cassie and Caitlyn Orosz asked friends to donate to Love Without Boundaries Nutrition programs instead of giving gifts. So many children are enjoying extra nutrition thanks to these special girls. Thank you so much!
We are also excited and honored to be handling merchandise for the June 2006 DTC group. We are thankful for the support of this group and their desire to give to the waiting children in China . We made ornaments for them this season that were very popular.
We are planning a mission trip for next summer, (Lisa, Michela, and Lexie) and are excited to start fundraising for this trip after the first of the year. Good reason to clean the house for a garage sale!
Thank you to all of our customers who support this effort. We are so blessed to be called to do this work. We are honored to serve these precious children. Our sincere hope is to see SOLDC grow and provide for more and more children in the years to come. We have willing bodies and servant's hearts and look forward to our opportunities in the future.
Blessings-
The Kaden Family
