Sophia's Gotcha Day
We can't believe it has been one year already. We are truly blessed to be a part of such a beautiful miracle. It is amazing to see her blossom in our loving family. Love and attention play such a vital roll in a child's development. For this reason, we chose to sponsor another child in Half The Sky's developmental program in her honor. Friends and family gathered together to celebrate the anniversary of Sophia joining her for ever family and helped us raise enough money to sponsor a child for one year. Thank you all for your support. We are all one family, loving and caring for each other. Look for a picture and info on this new sponsor child coming soon.

Blanket Drive
All I can say is Wow! And thank you! When I sent out an email in November to past customers & friends asking for donations to Love Without Boundaries blanket drive, I had a goal. We committed to matching funds for this effort and I desperately wanted to write out a check for $1000. I thought $500 in donations for a small, new charity was optimistic, but within reach. The IKEA factory in China offered wonderful fluffy blankets for $2 each and LWB was placing the order after Christmas. It was with praise & Thanksgiving - and many tears of joy that on the 28th of December I wrote a check for $2,022!!! Thanks to all of you, 1011 children will be kept warmer this winter! This is a great example of how a little goes a long way - Thank you for sharing your blessings & love. |
